Marys topple Vincents
ST MARYS, SAGGART 1-10 ST VINCENTS 1-7
The All-Ireland club champions of 2008, St Vincents, were knocked out of the race to be Dublin champions this year by a determined Saggart outfit in this Evening Herald Dublin SFC fourth round encounter at OToole Park on Saturday afternoon.
In the fifth minute Vins looked to have stolen the initiative when Diarmuid Connolly goaled for his side but before the midpoint of the half Marys got their goal when the impressive Blaine Kelly cracked home a clinical finish at the end of a long solo run and by the interval the sides were level 1-4 each.
Tomas Quinn nosed Vins in front but the midfielder partnership of Denis Carrigan and Shay Walsh held the upperhand for Marys and they fully deserved their victory.

| Tuairisc: Marys book spot in semi-final
Points from Kenneth Kelly and David Marshall in the final five minutes saw Marys edge out UCD in this Evening Herald Dublin SFC quarter-final at Parnell Park on Thursday night.
Marys led 0-5 to 0-3 at the interval but catapulted themselves into a commanding position when David Marshall finished to the net seven minutes into the second half after a point effort from Blaine Kelly has been parried by keeper Stephen Gallagher.
The students responded by kicking the next five points through Mark Ronaldson (two, one free), Mark Smith, Robert Muldowney and Ryan Mellon to draw level, 1-5 to 0-8.
But Marys showed great nerve to find the passes and work the scoring opportunities in the final minutes.
