| 18/01/2010 Dublin v Wexford 2010 | DUBLIN 2-10 WEXFORD 0-8
Two second half penalties saw Dublin shake off the challenge of Wexford in this O Byrne Cup clash at Parnell Park on Sunday afternoon.
The Dubs progress and will have home advantage when facing Meath next Sunday in the quarter-final after this eight-point victory.
The opening half was a fairly tame affair and at the break the sides were level 0-5 each after the possession game favoured by both sides did not lead to too much adventurous football.
Dublin were reduced to 14 men in the 29th minute when Eoghan OGara was red-carded for what ref Damian Brazil judged was a dangerous, high tackle.
Four minutes into the second half Wexford had Brian Malone yellow carded for the second time and he was given the line.
The introduction at half-time Brendan McManamon improved the Dublin fortunes in the second half as the boys in blue began to use the long footpass to a greater extent. It was a tactic that paid dividend.
In the 43rd minute Dublin were awarded the first of their two penalties for a foot block on Brendan McManamon which Blaine Kelly slotted with aplomb.
Two minutes later a long delivery from Eamon Fennell was broken down by Michael Darragh McAuley and McManamon popped over a point to put the hosts 1-7 to 0-6 clear.
With five minutes remaining the Dubs were awarded a second penalty when Kevin McManamon was fouled and the player himself put away the spotkick to put Dublin safe.

All interested parties are asked to please submit applications to Club Secretary, St. Marys GFC, Pairc Mhuire, Saggart, Co. Dublin or by email to secretary.stmarys.dublin@gaa.ie . Closing date for applications is Thursday 21st January at 8PM
Membership Fees for 2010 are now due and must be paid ASAP to Bernie Howard Registrar, Aisling Magee Treasurer or Mick Nugent Secretary. Rates are 100 Playing Adult, 60 Non-Playing Adult, 50 Associate, Student Player or Unemployed, 30 Juveniles, Senior Citizens 20. Families will have their membership capped at 130.
The club would like to extend its sympathies to the Hennessy and Purcell families following their recent bereavements.
Lotto numbers drawn for postponed draw for 7th January were 5-11-12-24. Lotto numbers drawn for 14th January were 8-19-21-27. There was no winner and Thursday's Jackpot is 8000 with a roll over jackpot of 300.

Due to the adverse weather and road conditions, this weeks Lotto Draw, BINGO and Ceili were postponed or cancelled. The club apologises for any inconvenience. There will be a double Lotto Draw held in the club for both last Thursdays and this weeks Lotto draws this Thursday night.

| 20/12/2009 Club Notes 21/12/2009 | The club's 2010 calendar featuring club players and other famous people was launched last Friday and is available from the club bar or Stephen Finn 0868375909 cost 10 each.
Last Lotto numbers for 2009 were drawn at club function on Saturday and the numbers were 8-11-14-26. There was no winner and the Jackpot remains capped at 8000 with a roll-over jackpot started at 100. Next draw will be held on Thursday 7th January.
New Year's Eve Family function is by ticket only, available from any of the Social Group. Cost 10/adult and children are free. Ticket includes, hot food and music by Paul Joyce. Taxi's are arranged for use by families on the night.
Club lounge will be open on St Stephens Day (strictly members only), Sunday 27th, Thursday 31st, Friday 1st and Sunday 3rd over the holiday period.
Finally the club would like to wish all our members, supporters, sponsors and friends a very Merry and Peaceful Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year.

| 06/12/2009 Cllub Notes 06/12/2008 | Congrats to the Seniors on beating Fingallians to retain their AFL1 status. Thanks to the management and players and supporters for another good long year of football.
Our thanks to Saggart NS for their Bazaar last weekend and to Citywest Hotel for bringing Santa to the club by helicopter.
The postponed Whist takes place next Thursday 8:30PM in club lounge. The XMAS Bingo takes place on Wednesday 16th December.
Family Night on New Years Eve in club. Tickets from Karen Bennett or Rachel Boggans, 10/adult, children free. Taxis will be available from 12:30AM
Lotto numbers drawn last week were 1-4-7-25. There was no winner and Thursdays Jackpot will be 7900. last Lotto draw 2009 takes place on Saturday 19th December on club Social Night. There will be four hampers and other prizes instead of normal ticket draw. Lotto Jackpot if not won will be capped at 8000 and a roll-over jackpot started.

| 30/11/2009 Cllub Notes 30/11/2009 | Senior match against Fingallians called off by referee due to terrible conditions Sunday. Our thanks to the lads who spent Friday and Saturday getting the pitch ready, but the weather turned against them.
Elected at the AGM last Thursday was Club Chairman Jim Byrne, Vice Chairman Cathal Kelly, Treasurer Aisling Magee, Registrar Bernie Howard. The positions of Secretary, Asst Secretary and Asst Treasurer will be filed by Executive Committee.
Old Folks Christmas Party takes place on 10th December. Anyone wishing to help please contact Eileen Coyne or Karen Bennett.
BINGO takes place on Wednesday night 8:30PM. St Marys NS have their Annual Christmas Bazaar in the club next Sunday 6th December. Please come and support them.
